Digital X-Ray

Digital x-rays are quickly becoming the standard in dental imaging.

Radiographs are taken with less radiation exposure. The technology gives us the ablilty to see the images instantly on the computer screen. Images are then able to be enlarged and modified to enhance our ability to diagnose potential problems. There are two systems used currently to capture digital x-rays. Each system has its pros and cons. To gain the flexability to take advantage of as many of the pros we have invested in both systems to ensure our patients have nothing but the best.

In addition to the advantages to the patient, digital radiographs provide a more "green" method of capturing images. There are no harmful chemicals needed to develop images.
